Jazmine’s passions are centered in empowering communities by equipping them with the knowledge and resources to protect themselves as they navigate complex immigration legal landscapes. Before joining IDP, Jazmine was a Program Coordinator with Immigrant Defenders Law Center in Southern California, where she oversaw her team’s provision of Know Your Rights presentations and legal services for unaccompanied migrant children, and advocated for their rights and treatment while in government custody. Jazmine is from San Diego, California and majored in Social Policy and Public Service at the University of California, Irvine.
