Jophiel manages the organization’s administrative operations and finances, while also providing crucial support in development and various program areas. In his previous role as the Operations Coordinator, he successfully transitioned IDP’s office space into storage & migrated operations to function remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic, while also providing close support with the Director of Legal Support & Resources on legal CLE trainings, and eventually securing accreditation as a New York State CLE provider. Prior to IDP, Jophiel was the Director of Operations at the New York Conservatory, where his responsibilities concerned facilities management of a 20,000 sq ft office and managing a team providing technical services, administrative functions and facilities. Jophiel earned a B.A. in Political Science at Hunter College and is a proud Guadalajara native, passionate futbolista, and a lover of the arts.
